    Revolut became a regular client during my freelance work, with projects focused on showcasing new app features, tools, and offers. Most pieces required rebuilding UI elements in Figma and animating them in After Effects, striking a balance between simplified customer journeys and realistic walkthroughs that could guide users through new functionality. Given Revolut’s global presence, each project involved extensive localisation; often 40+ versions per video across 18 languages, with varying currency combinations. This meant tight project management, collaborating with translation teams, and using Figma plugins to streamline the process all while maintaining visual consistency and avoiding issues caused by text length or layout shifts. It was equal parts creative and technical - and a good chance to flex my attention to detail, systems thinking, and even a bit of my Japanese, while working alongside a genuinely talented team.…
