Job Description

The Senior Post Producer is responsible for leading projects through production while ensuring alignment with the creative vision and exceeding client expectations. This role includes overseeing project timelines, personnel, and any conflicts that arise during the post-production process. The Senior Post Producer must quickly adapt to changes in scope and deliverables, while maintaining an understanding of post-production workflows including editorial, motion design, color grading, finishing, sound mixing, and visual effects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise project pipeline from ingest to final delivery, managing all created elements.
• Monitor quality control aspects and ensure timely feedback is addressed.
• Manage in-person sessions with clients and post studio artists.
• Resolve conflicts related to budget and schedule status with a solution-oriented approach.
• Collaborate with the Agency Producer and Creative teams to route, track notes, and deliver projects.
• Provide regular project timeline and budget updates to the Executive Producer.
• Enforce guidelines for post-production artists throughout each project.
• Act as the day-to-day contact with the internal Account team.
• Report client requests outside the scope of work to the Executive Producer.
• Oversee day-to-day post-production operations.
• Develop and manage finishing workflows, including color grading, sound mixing, final conform, and VFX.
• Monitor staffing needs and alert stakeholders about additional costs for approval.
• Ensure the artistic and creative integrity of projects according to client needs and Creative Director recommendations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Post Producer role.
• Excellent client, time management, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and able to work under tight and changing deadlines.
• Deep understanding of post-production costs and workflows.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
• Strong problem-solver in a video production setting.
• Knowledge of video production, video specs, camera specs, and video compression.
• Experience with post-production applications (e.g., Resolve, Adobe Products, ProTools) is a plus.
