My name is Athina. I am a self-taught, freelance 3D artist, based in the United Kingdom. I specialize in creating immersive 3D visualisers, ranging from music videos to short loops. I have been designing and illustrating original characters and fan artwork since I was extremely young, however over the past few years I found a greater passion within the 3D space as I now feel my creativity is endless. Personally, I always found enjoyment through old-skool video games, specifically Nintendo games and so I decided to combine my passion for creation with this interest to create my own unique art style.
As an artist, I am often praised for my work ethic and creativity. I also believe that these are extremely important skills to have, especially when meeting deadlines and bringing forward creative visions. Additionally, I frequently receive feedback that my animation is fluid, realistic and unique. Learning to animate is also a crucial skill when creating my style of videos- ensuring that the audience is not feeling negatively during a viewing experience due to poor movements is a key aspect in creating enjoyable cinematography. I also have experience in using models from other artists to create both stylized and realistic movements. I have learned many general skills such as character texturing, rigging and different styles of modelling alongside cinematography skills such as how to use scenes to convey different emotions and the impact of camera angles.
I have created a positive image for myself on social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and Twitter, however have had the most success on Instagram. My account athst4r has gathered a diverse selection of followers ranging between people who enjoy the music artists used in my videos, people who play video games and other artists within the 3D low-poly community. Over time, I have maintained a consistent clientele, consisting of mainly music artists; however on some occasions I also receive requests from clothing brands. As can be seen in my portfolio, I have worked in the industry with some respected music artists such as Odetari, Ayesha Erotica and 6arelyhuman to create music videos for them.
In 2023, I completed 2 full years of the Level 3 Animation, illustration and games design course at Bedford College, achieving a 'high merit'. Previously, I attended Samuel Whitbread Academy's sixth form and completed a year of Graphic Design, alongside achieving a level 7 in fine art at GCSE level.
