My name is Alice Humphreys and I am a visual artist based in Brighton. I works across mediums of illustration, animation and graphic design. I developed my love for visual communication after studying Photography & Performing Arts previously to my degree of Film Production. I was originally a filmmaker in 2015, working on a wide range of shorts, documentaries, music videos, including a total of 5 shorts for Channel 4 Random Acts. My roles included Producer, Director, Editor & AD, including ‘One Falling, One Diving’ - a creative dance piece - Produced by myself, which won the ‘Best Experimental Short Film’ award at the BFI Future Film festival in 2017.
In 2016 I became the in-house designer for Brighton based music promotions company ‘Back In The Woods’, for The Great Escape Festival, and realised my passion for illustration and graphics. I moved on to dive into the world of animation, thus combining my two loves of drawing and moving visual art.
