To put it briefly, I am a photojournalist and editorial photographer at heart. Being a photojournalist gives you a license to be curious about all things. There is nothing I love better than going out on an assignment, being able to illustrate a good story, and then seeing those photos in print. I get an indescribable high from it every time. Every day in this biz is a new adventure. And you're only as good as the picture in today's paper.
I started as a music photographer, working with anyone from local garage bands and cover bands to national and international artists. I shoot promo materials as well as live performances. My photography has been featured in Guitar World, Guitar Player, Musicians Friend, Guitar Edge, New York Magazine, EU Jacksonville, Buzz Magazine and local and national publications. I photograph musicians of any genre: rock, country, jazz, bluegrass, metal, Celtic, Americana and any combination in between. I make musicians look like Rock Stars.
I also shoot all types of sports. I have been the Athletics photographer for Jacksonville University and Flagler College, Division I and Division II schools respectively. I've also shot for University of Florida, , University of North Florida, University of South Carolina, Auburn University, Harvard University, Kansas State University and more. I have photographed presidents and other government officials and many of those hoping to be.
I provide my clients with all types of portraiture: head shots, individual, corporate, environmental and studio. I have the ability to make people feel comfortable in front of my camera so they are relaxed and their personality can shine through. It's always fun!
Added to all of this, I write well, too.
