U.K. artist and guitarist Paul Birtwell's "Continuous Light" is a mixture of acoustic guitar with synthesizer keys, and programmed drums. The arrangements have plenty of dynamic contrast, and Paul is a very tasteful player. I like the way he clearly gets to the point of what he's trying to express with economy of notes, but with great attention to detail. For example in "Field of Horses", the theme has very nice string lines that enhance the melody and sections, but sound natural and don't get in the way of the main guitar. There's electric bass on some of the songs, and Paul switches between acoustic and electric. There's even alto saxophone on "Shine", and as with all the songs on the CD, nothing is too loud or too fast. The sax and guitar sounds blend well, and the drums keep a steady light rock feel.

My name is Elizabeth Teresa, I am a 19 year old a singer songwriter who specializes in making music, writing lyrics, creating melodies and hooks. I am from Preston in Lancashire, however I am able to travel if necessary or work online too.
I attended Access to Music college in Manchester where I gained a level three diploma for Vocal Artists and Music Practitioners. This includes performing, singing and writing songs, however, I have always been doing this since a very young age and it has always been my most favourite passion. What makes me special, is that I am able to write and create lyrics and melodies that are so unique and captivating, it makes the listener hooked just by the first time listening. I have written thousands of my own songs, mainly pop music for example in the style of Lewis Capaldi, Taylor Swift, Julia Michaels, are a few of my biggest influences. In addition to this, I have a huge amount of experience collaborating with other artists and I love being able to throw ideas and create something amazing. I have been featured on BBC Introducing and had my songs played on local radio stations and perform regularly.
**Employment and project experience**
I took a gap year after college where I really worked on music full time and in this time, I also worked at Whitelab Studios, where I gained experience with young artists, helping them change and improve their lyrics and melodies.
