Every composer can write music, but I want to find the specific emotional pulse of your project - the feeling that stays with the audience after the screen goes black.
I am a Belgian composer whose work weaves together modern classical, ambient textures, and cinematic storytelling. My background is a bit of a hybrid: I have a strong foundation in guitar and media composition, years of experience with symphony orchestras, and I currently serve as the Composer-in-Residence for Brussels Muzieque.
Perhaps most importantly, the fact that I'm also a psychologist informs every note I write. I’m fascinated by how we perceive sound and emotion, and I use that to sculpt music that is both intellectually engaging and emotionally grounded.

In 2021 Pete scored the short films “Quietus” and “Angels of Somme” winner of Best Film at UWE 2021 and The British Short Film Awards 2022.
2024 saw more additions, including scoring the beautiful short film “The Trodden Grass” and additional music for tv series “Memory of the Heart” in the Middle East.
