During the past 2 years, I have had the privilege of volunteering on a health and wellbeing station on DAB radio. I present my own weekly show a job that I am truly passionate about. My role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including hand-picking songs, meticulously planning playlists, producing, and presenting the show live on air and ensuring a seamless flow of music conversation for our listeners. Furthermore, I have taken charge of inviting special guests to our shows, allowing me to showcase a diverse array of talent and interviewing skills to create captivating content. Conducting comprehensive interviews with these guests has been a highlight of my job, as it enables me to delve into thought-provoking discussions and share valuable insights with our audience. The opportunity to combine my love for music, meticulous planning, and engaging interviews in one role has made my experience in radio incredibly fulfilling. I was honoured to be nominated and go onto win an award of Best Newcomer Radio Presenter nationwide at the National Hospital Broadcast awards 2024. I’m the guy that fellow photographers call when they are stuck on a project. You see, most photographers have one type of photography they specialise in, be it jewellery, model fashion, E-commerce, food, lifestyle, etc. As I graduated and came into the photography world, catalogue photography was the main industry in Manchester (where I am from), and that being the case, on a Monday I could be shooting fashion. Tuesday could be ovens, freezers, or utensils in a custom built kitchen roomset. Wednesday sofas and furnishings on location in hired residential property, Thursday could be kids toys, and Fridays out on location in a city, or on a beach shooting fashion. And this would be completely different week after week. My introduction to photography was encompassing and as varied as you can get, so I gained skills in every single area of the discipline.
I take pride in being someone others can depend on, as I understand the importance of meeting deadlines and delivering on commitments.
