enricasciandrone.com…Enrica studied piano and composition in her native Italy, and composition for screen at the Royal College of Music in London. Since 2009 she has been living in London, and working successfully in the film music industry.
Recently she worked with BAFTA and Ivor Novello award winning composer Rob Lane as additional composer on A Discovery of Witches III (2022, Sky) and The Winter King (2023, ITVx). Other music department credits include Wrath of the Titans (2012), Zhongkui (2014), Raoul Taburin (2018) as assistant to Emmy award winning Javier Navarrete, and Life (2017) and Mowgli (2018) as assistant to renowned orchestrator Nicholas Dodd.
Enrica has composed the soundtracks for several films, such as American Fango (2013) and Rudy Valentino (2015), documentaries such as 512 Hours with Marina Abramovic, (SkyArts), the EMMY nominated animation Little Bird (2022), plus several Italian TV commercials, and production libraries (EMI - Sonoton - Cavendish).
Her music and arrangements have been broadcasted on BBC Radio 3 (UK), Radio Rai 3 (Italy), BBC, Channel 5 and ITV.
Enrica won the first prize at the III Premio Petrassi International Composition Competition in 2009, with Ennio Morricone leading the jury.
Other awards include the 2012 Peer Raben Award at Soundtrack Cologne, the 2014 ISFMF Awards, with John Corigliano as head of the jury, and a nomination for the prestigious SABAM Award for young composer at the Word Soundtrack Awards in Ghent (2016).
She is an alumni of the 2012 ASCAP TV and film scoring workshop with Richard Bellis, recording with the Hollywood Studio Orchestra at Fox Studios, Los Angeles.
