I'm a Producer and artist who specializes in Neo Soul from the UK. I spent 3 years studying at University of Westminster, London, where I earned First Class Honors for my work in 'Music: Production Performance and Enterprise' A little about my journey... I've been around and involved with music since I was young, sitting in on my dads band practices was where it began for me. We had an old piano and I spent hours exploring the sounds I could make with it. We were lucky enough to just about afford an Atari ST1040 with a really basic midi DAW. I began creating my own music, mainly imitating my favorite artists, that was my main method of learning about music. As a teen, I performed in school bands and entered battle of the band competitions. which have helped me to hone my talents as a musician and performer. I studied at Leeds college of music where I got my first real insights into what it took to be a producer. I went on to help run an open mic night where I was finally able to meet like minded musicians and performers. With my long time musical partner Kim Chuah, we managed to get noticed from hours and hours of performances and YouTube uploads by a manager working under Ludacris's label 'Disturbing tha Peace', an imprint, distributed by Def Jam. We were given the opportunity to write songs, hooks and beats to pitch for artists Eminem, Rihanna, M.I.A, Ludacris, and 50 Cent. Working in this way eventually took its toll on us, we weren't developing ourselves as artists so we decided to cancel our contract. Music dried up for a while until I made the decision to continue my journey back into education at university. I decided to fully explore the possibilities of developing myself as a producer/artist. Now I have completed my course with first class honors and I'm keen to work!

#instrumental #music #soundtrack #master A song im working on for my EP, I was keen to make sure i wasnt rigidly stuck to one specific genre, rather, I wanted the creation process to be as natural as possible, so whatever came out musically didnt have to be purely Neo Soul.
