Queensland Government

The Queensland Government is a democratic administrative body of the Australian state of Queensland. The Queensland Government, a parliamentary constitutional monarchy, was formed in 1859, as provided for in its Constitution with periodic amendments. Since the creation of the Australian Federation in 1901, Queensland has been a state of Australia, and the Australian Constitution has regulated relations between governments of all states and territories and the Government of Australia. In accordance with the Australian Constitution, all states and territories (including Queensland) transferred powers on certain issues to the federal government.
