Dirty Freek
Dirty Freek has been one of the shining lights of house music for the last decade. His passion for all things house has seen him release music on labels such as Subliminal, Hed Kandi, Get Twisted and more recently Ministry of Sound to name a few. Co-Owner and founder of the label ApartmentSixtyThree, his music has gained support from some of the world’s biggest DJ’s including Erick Morillo, Pete Tong, Danny Howard, Annie Mac & Tough Love to name a few.
2015 looks set to be his most successful year to date as he teams up with the mighty Hardsoul for their release ‘Just Another Face’ which is set to be one of the massive anthems this summer. After its creation, the track was instantly snapped up by Tough Love’s Get Twisted imprint. Not long after Pete Tong played it as his world exclusive on BBC Radio1, then playing it the following week with Danny Howard & Annie Mac joining in the hype. In quick succession Dirty’s inbox was soon filling up with all the major labels wanting a piece of the action and after careful negotiation it has now been signed to Ministry of Sound where it is due for a full summer release. The track has already gained huge support from some of the major players and was recently dubbed by Pete Tong as one of the tracks that will rule Miami 2015.
It hasn’t stopped there either! Over the last few months Dirty Freek has become a very in demand remixer and is currently working with a variety of labels including Mark Brown’s Cr2 & 3Beat.
With over 20,000 followers on Soundcloud, a calendar of DJ gigs quickly filling up over the summer and a whole roster of unheard tracks scheduled for release on ApartmentSixtyThree, the future for the Freeky one is set to get much louder!
