My name is Dorottya Madacsi, and I graduated from the University of Amsterdam's Media Studies Masters programme in August 2023. My academic background has equipped me with a solid foundation in the fields of media, entertainment, and publishing. My professional journey includes diverse work environments that have demanded excellent communication and problem-solving skills. My experience in media production includes working as a producer assistant, where I mainly completed administrative and organisational tasks. I also have basic knowledge in PR and marketing (social media marketing, digital copywriting, press monitoring, and event planning), which I gained at Health in Mind (Edinburgh) and at HPS Communication (Budapest). As a PR assistant at Health in Mind and a marketing manager intern at HPS Communication, I have developed the necessary skills to build successful media campaigns and gained professional experience at internationally recognised agencies. As a volunteer coordinator at the 2020 European Youth Dressage Championships and as an assistant to the judges at various international dressage competitions, I had the chance to develop basic office skills and essential knowledge in event planning and time management. I am open and collaborative with my peers, willing to search for creative ways to integrate valuable insights into any project.
