I’m Scott Larson— A freelance Artist, Writer and Photographer. I look for ways to make meaningful, authentic connections with people through my work and personal relationships. My experience as a former professional marathoner and current adventurer inform my work with energy and passion. In the streets, studio or wilderness I look to capture the sublime in everyday moments.
Author: Notes from the Colorado Trail; an autobiographical account of Larson’s solo hike on the nearly 500-mile Colorado Trail, illustrated with his distinctive brush and ink paintings.

- Digital Illustration of Mount Fuji chosen for the print edition of The Heron’s Nest haiku journal.
- Short story, Bitter Drunk, Sad Drunk appeared in annual addition of The Best of Foliate Oak.
- Larson’s fine art has appeared in galleries and and local businesses.
Projects:
** Blue Bear Collective: An art project which gives away original pieces of art for the societal good.
** The Wander’s Collective: A platform for people to share experiences, thoughts, joys and fears engendered while engaging in non-motorized activities and transportation, through writing, poetry, photographs, and art.
** The Sisyphus Project: An art project and show of support for those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. In this conceptual art piece I wore a protective mask and carried a rock for 122 days.
