I started violin at an early age inspired by 'Fiddler on the Roof'. The Royal College of Music granted me a scholarship where I studied violin, piano and composition. Later I moved away from classical music towards Jazz, Folk and Funk. After African and Indian music had a great influence on me I eventually realised that I liked elements of all of these styles and that they could also be combined. I have recorded violin and piano/keyboard in studios as a session musician and currently conduct orchestras, educate and record music in my own studio for various projects.

uniE608 FUgive me - an Eastern inspired track with live singing and violin
This is a track inspired by the East and harks back to when I was originally inspired by 'Fiddler on the Roof' to take up the violin. All music, audio mixing and instrumental performing is done by me as always but with a couple of other people humming along with the melody too.
uniE608 Tube Track - Funky track made with a collection of free sounds
Spitfire Audio released some free sounds of the underground trains and environment in London. I put together this fun little funk track as an afternoon experiment and added some photos to make a video.
uniE608 Bunny McGarry - Modern take on Irish Folk music
Inspired by the book series by Caimh McDonnell. This recording is one of the series completed in my studio with a mixture of live and electronic instrumentation. An original composition with all instruments played and recorded by myself.
uniE608 Tungsten Theme - No.7 of ‘Filmic Moments for Orchestra’
‘Filmic Moments for Orchestra’ is a set of 12 pieces written for orchestra which aim to create an emotional connection with the listener by conveying a narrative. This recording was performed and mixed within my studio for the purposes of demonstration and has been played by a live orchestra since. Tungsten Theme - Tungsten is the strongest metal on Earth and can be used to light up a room if used in bulbs, to take life in the form of bullets or produce beautiful vibrations when wound around cello strings. Tungsten literally means "heavy stone" in Swedish. The overall feel of ‘Tungsten Theme’ is positivity and strength with a dash of superhero and adventure. There are hints of a military march or brass fanfare at times, but there are also sections which show softer elements.
uniE608 Clip From HBO Westworld with my film score
This is an example of 'cinematic' scoring written for full orchestra plus electronic instruments. It was recorded using a mixture of live and electronic instruments. It is an original composition, with all audio mixing and instrumental performance carried out by me in my studio. HBO released this clip for composers to create their own individual interpretation of the soundscape through score writing.
