I earned my B.A. in Music and English from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX, in 1989. I earned my J.D. in 1992 and my M.B.A. in 2002, both from The University of Texas at Austin. I was a litigator in Texas for 15 years. I was an original member of the Austin, Texas, rock band The Tiny Tin Hearts, and I played with Austin singer-songwriter Robin Smith.
