I am an award winning screenwriter that is passionate about storytelling and creating emotive and engaging content. This is a thread that has been a constant in my life. From writing fictional stories at school, gaining degrees in film, creative writing and English literature, to developing screenplays and filming adverts and television shows, I have always wanted to help produce compelling tales and narratives. I have worked in the film and television industry for over 15 years, gaining experience in development, pre-production and production across a number of genres and formats. This experience has been vital in shaping my career as a screenwriter. I have been part of BAFTA winning teams in drama, comedy and children’s entertainment. My development experience has allowed me to understand the process of creating an idea or concept, letting it grow organically and fleshing it out into a pitching document and series bible, then ultimately transferring that concept into a screenplay. Most recently, I have been working in a writing and development capacity for both broadcast, online and VR production companies. I am adept in all aspects of development and narrative creation – concept, script and storyline – and strive to produce innovative, original and creative projects. I have had scripts short/long listed by the BBC in the comedy and drama genres.
