so . . . i"ve DJ'ed techno, house, trance, and breaks, professionally, since '92 as DJ Usul. I've thrown house parties and raves, and had an incredible blast doing it. I stopped being aggressive with it (around 2000) once i realized i needed/wanted to learn how to write the music i played. Since then, I have been producing with Science Vs Nature (SVN), as well as on my own. Now-a-daze, I am extremely fluent with Logic, ProTools, Ableton, Final Cut Pro, Motion, Illustrator, and Photoshop. SVN has compiled an impressive set of gear (Nord, Virus, MS2000, CS6R, 2 Liquid Channels, 2 MPC3000, multiple EuCon controllers . . . the list goes on and on). I went to school for Art and Psychology, and used to work as an exec art director for a MAJOR book publishing house. I guess i'll eventually end up making movies as i get older, but until then, i crank tunes for other people, namely as a "ghost producer." "What is that?" you ask. Well, when i'm hired to produce someone, I do a work-for-hire contract, meaning the owner of the song can keep ALL CREDITS. That's right! My name will only show up in small print, and the owner can take all the credit. Not great for my publicity, but it helps me get work and pay for food on the kid's table. And ever so often i get a gig to DJ, sometimes its my love: techno/trance and other times its my roots: indie rock. Sooner than later, i'll have a long list of remixes and originals i've done on here. Until then, enjoy what's here. Please contact: _Email not available. Sign in: https://www.twine.net/signup_
