Our goal is to replace the current white-label payment app used by our users with an in-house app that provides more flexibility for sub-prime users to make and schedule monthly payments. As the UX team of one for this mobile app, I collaborate with the PM. I started by identifying the MVP functionality and conducting research with the customer service team to understand the motivations and reasons for timely or delayed payments. Based on this information, I created the user flow and value propositions to help users stay on top of their payments for this MVP. The product is currently in the wireframe stage, and we are also designing the portal for it.
