    uniE621 Bar Ties Brand Guidelines
THE PROJECT OVERVIEW The Client: BarTies Mobile Bartending is an Austin, Texas local small business. The Challenge: The company wanted to create a branding kit that conveyed their luxury bartending persona. It was important that the business have a distinct style that was recognizable by clients no matter the context. The goal was to ensure the brand feel high-end and luxurious, without being flashy or gaudy. What I Did: I developed their brand personality, logo, style guide, custom filters, and social media templates. All design choices were done considering they might need to translate into any future products released by the brand. This includes, but is not limited to: glassware, promotion boxes, table linens, uniforms, name tags and a website (both mobile and desktop). THE DELIVERABLES Logo Variations: The Logo was designed to convey that the business: specializes in bartending; works high-end, private, black-tie events; and is a luxury service. A martini glass was chosen to emphasize the luxury bartending aspect; the bowtie to convey the black-tie nature of the private events; and lines were kept sharp and geometric in order to reinforce the company's rigid, consistent professionalism. The typography: Serif fonts were favored to soften the edges of the logo, as well as convey a sense of class that the owner desired. The single sans serif was selected for headings to complement the logo's style. The Color palette: A muted green color palette was chosen to stay consistent with the logo's pop of color; softer, forest, pastel greens were favored to avoid being too harsh. Stark black and white were avoided completely. Print and Digital Templates were developed in order to keep the brand's deliverables consistent. From invoices to Instagram Stories, every aspect of the business was designed to follow brand guidelines and maintain a strong sense of brand identity both on and offline. The Custom Lightroom filter was developed intentionally with undertones of rose to complement the green-focused color palette of the brand. The Stationary Templates developed were done for products that needed heavy branding and were more information heavy, like invoices, employee nametags, and business cards.

    uniE621 Sweet Nest Brand Guides
THE PROJECT OVERVIEW The Client: Sweet Nest ATX is an Austin, Texas local small business. The Challenge: The company wanted to stand out in the market as a cleaning service that also provides other home services. With a target demographic of women 25-45, we wanted to create something that catered to that style and audience. The goal was to ensure the brand felt cozy, homey, and familiar, with some southern nudges. What I Did: I developed their brand personality, logo, style guide, custom filters, and social media templates. Once this was completed, I completed their website. THE DELIVERABLES Logo Variations: The Logo was designed to ensure users understood "nest" was being used as a term for "home". Keeping the house as a focal point of the logo and keeping "nest" in the house motif was intentional. A custom cow print made with paint-like blotches was created to give a nod to the southern location of the company. The typography: Serif fonts were favored to soften the edges of the logo, and remain readable and simple against the curvy main font. The Color palette: The owner's moodboard included a lot of muted colors. Pinks and browns were chosen to emulate the home setting for the brand. Print and Digital Templates were developed in order to keep the brand's deliverables consistent. From invoices to Instagram Stories, every aspect of the business was designed to follow brand guidelines and maintain a strong sense of brand identity both on and offline. The Custom Lightroom filter was developed intentionally with undertones of rose to complement the color palette of the brand. The Stationary Templates developed were done for products that needed heavy branding and were more information heavy, like invoices, business flyers, and business cards.
uniE621 Texas Tonix Full Site Redesign
THE PROJECT OVERVIEW The Client: Texas Tonix LLC is an Austin, Texas local small business that sells CBD products nationwide. The Challenge: The company previously had brick-and-mortars and was transferring to completely online sales in Summer of 2023. They wanted to revamp their site in order for it to be not only easy for their customers to purchase products, but easy for the founding family's patriarch to manage by himself. Taking these things into consideration, I was able to develop a front end and back end site for the company. What I Did: Over the course of 8 weeks, I developed a fresh logo, branding, and functional ecommerce website for the company, including all elements of the old site, as well as additional things like a product matching quiz. THE DELIVERABLES Logo Variations intended to be more readable, and include the company's "+" branding Updated color palette to relay health, herbal solutions, and a country feel Fully functional ecommerce site hosted on Shopify's platform
    uniE621 HELPR Browser Extension
THE PROJECT OVERVIEW The Challenge: We wanted to know how we could help freelancers become more successful. The problem was finding how freelancers define success. The Objective: Our overall objective was to research, strategize and design a product that would help freelancers work more efficiently and stay organized in a way that is easy and accessible. My Role: Within my team, my primary focuses were: UX Research, Prototyping and Developing a Sales Pitch to Investors. I created interview guides, conducted user interviews and worked with my team for all affinity mapping, user personas and journeys, user flows, wireframing and prototyping. The Solution: An extension for freelancers that allows them to streamline their tasks across multiple platforms into one hub that can be organized by project. The extension was developed to act as an independent contractor’s virtual assistant. Once downloaded, HELPR is able to sync to apps such as Zoom, Figma, Miro, Canva, and email services in order to provide freelancers with an interactive one stop overview of all the tasks they have to complete. THE DELIVERABLES The three user flows we created were: checking a new message notification; creating a new project; and creating an event within a project, both manually and automatically. These were used as guidelines when creating screens. We focused on the main functionalities of the extension that alleviated pain points we found freelancers faced. The Style Guide: We chose Roboto since it is a highly legible font. We used deep blues to convey reliability. Icons that were widely used and understood were designed and selected. Based off of this style guide, our user flows, wireframes, and all of the research and strategizing we had completed we were able to complete our browser extension: HELPR.
    uniE621 Patient Intake Form
PROJECT OVERVIEW The Challenge: Redesign an outdated, paper Patient Intake Form into a more accessible digital version that could be easily transferred to a mobile format. What I Did: For this redesign, I focused primarily on: wireframes; interaction and visual mockups; and design specifications. The Solution: A two-panel selector design that allows clients to see and edit their intake form in both a standard view and an overview. Additionally, there was an emphasis on simplicity and inclusivity in language and design choices. The Outcome: I created a readable, digestible, and accessible digital patient intake form that had the patient's experience at the forefront, even though I had limited insight into the target user's realistic needs. Since I do not have a background in medical documentation or records, I was left filling in the blanks for user needs on my own based exclusively on outside research conducted via competitive analysis. #designer
