I can help you create high-quality videos that'll connect you with your viewers. My life’s work is to tell the stories of others who have felt “unconventional,” “nontraditional,” “weird,” or any other adjective that doesn’t feel like a compliment. I prefer to use these adjectives instead to describe my favorite people: fresh, original, never-been-seen-before, innovative, creative, imaginative, radical, visionary, ingenious, artistic, inspired, expressive, vulnerable, courageous, clever, brilliant, and quirky. I enjoy working with creatives and creative entrepreneurs. I worked in digital marketing for over 14 years, including content creation and marketing strategy. My brain enjoys the puzzles and strategic side of things (fun fact: Strategic is one of my top Clifton Strengths). I also love a good story and believe deeply in the power of outstanding storytelling. I really dove into videos and video editing in 2020. I enjoyed making educational and informational videos at my full-time job in a higher education institution and one of the upsides of the pandemic was that video became an integral part of our marketing strategy. I knew my next career phase was to help others use the power of video as a solopreneur. While some might label my work as a videographer, producer, or part of a video production team, I’m a video editor and video content strategist, through and through! What I love about my work life now is getting to combine my strategic and ideation sides with my love of storytelling.

uniE608 Nonprofit Organization Volunteer Recruitment Video
Working with Dental Lifeline Network (DLN) was a fantastic way to help this nonprofit organization generate interest in its volunteer dentist program through a recruitment video to be used at offline events, regional meetings, and on social media. DLN coordinates a network of volunteer dentists and labs that donate comprehensive dental treatment to people with special needs (e.g. the elderly, those with disabilities, and people undergoing medical procedures). I collaborated with a videographer to take care of the video shoot at the office with the dentist and two patients. DLN provided the script and creative direction via storyboard, and conducted the interview with the video shoot participants. Once the video shoot was complete, the videographer shared the files with me and I took it from there with the editing and color correction and grading through Adobe Premiere Pro and sourcing the music on Envato Elements. In particular, the audio editing for this footage was tricky because the shoot was in an active dentist’s office. There were dental procedures going on in the background! After some careful audio/sound editing, the interviews came through crystal clear without distracting background noises. I chose the music tracks to mark separate points in the video’s storyline. The first track was inspirational and heightened Sofie’s story. The second track was upbeat to underscore the fun, ease, and meaning that the volunteer dentist associates with DLN. It also highlighted the call to action at the end for volunteers to sign up. The video turned out beautifully and is being used actively by the nonprofit organization. #video #advert #videoeditor
uniE608 Virtual Conference and Promotional Videos
A brand-new virtual conference, Beyond the Wound, about healing after religious trauma needed their pre-recorded interview videos edited for consistency and quality. Additionally, they also needed several promotional videos and video ads for social media. The conference had a lot to do with healing, community, and connection so we focused on using nature themes throughout the videos. Recorded by a variety of hosts and interviewees on Zoom, 21 video interviews were set to be released in a staggered approach during the three weeks of the summit. This project required diligent project management and attention to detail so that all the videos were reviewed and edited with plenty of time for the organizers to upload it to their platform. Along with the interviews, the organizers requested a longer promotional video they could use on the homepage of their website and across social media. I came up with the concept, sourced the stock footage and music, and developed a custom template for the four social media video clips. It was important to keep them consistent in branding and style while also reflecting the central theme of the quote and/or the speakers’ individual personalities. I then updated those clips into video ads by adding an intro graphic overlay and resizing to a 1:1 format that works better with video ads across social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. “It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Ayelet. We had a very large, ambitious project with a short timeline and Ayelet went above and beyond to meet our needs. From helping us hone our product image to last-minute revisions, her skill and dedication to our videos was an integral part in the success of our virtual summit. Ayelet will be our first choice for video editing in the future, and we are looking forward to working with her again.” — Lydia Bakkar, Co-Founder #video #advert #videoeditor

uniE608 Photo Montage Video using a Video Template
One of my collaborator's marketing clients, a website design and development team, celebrated their 20th anniversary throughout 2022. They wanted to use the video photo montage to highlight all the fun things they accomplished throughout the year, culminating in an out-of-this-world anniversary party. The client had a limited budget and also wanted to use their photos and graphics to their best advantage, so my collaborator and I worked together to select a template for the video. I then made adjustments to it in Adobe Premiere Pro so it suited our goals and needs. The finishing touch was sourcing music that was just right for the theme and the client. Everyone was pleased with the end result, and the client used it in their company’s 2022 holiday email campaign. The owner had this to say about the process: “This was our first time using a template for a video project, and we loved it! The template provided just enough limitations that it allowed our creativity to thrive. We understood what the editable areas were and could envision the story quickly because of it. We absolutely love the final product!” #video #advert #videoeditor #videotemplate
uniE608 Watercolor Painting Online Course Trailer Ad
I worked with Lacey Walker of Rebel Unicorn Crafts to create just the right trailer for her watercolor course. The video needed to capture her energy and zest for painting and teaching while exploring exactly what a viewer would get from her course (basically, a lot of amazing watercolor skills and knowledge!). Lacey provided all the video footage and photos as well as her branding. I compiled it all into a persuasive piece with editing, minor color correction and color grading, audio adjustment, selection of the background music, and addition of graphics. I also created a vertical version for Instagram. “Working with Ayelet is an absolute pleasure! One fear I typically have when working with others for video editing is that they won’t understand the project as well as I can, but Ayelet did her homework and that fear never surfaced! She had a clear direction in mind and was open to feedback. To say the least, it was a seamless project! She even patiently helped keep me on track when I got off task with providing video files. I highly recommend working with Ayelet for your video editing needs! ” — Lacey Walker, Rebel Unicorn Crafts #video #advert #videoeditor #artist
uniE608 Until They’re Home Nonprofit Organization - About Video
I worked with the great folks at Until They’re Home to create a video that expresses the wide range of services they provide - pet adoptions, permanent and temporary re-homing, and behavioral support. Like a lot of nonprofit organizations, they do so much that it can be hard to pinpoint what to focus on in a video. I love these kinds of challenges! After talking with Jaz, one of the founders, for 30 minutes, I structured my questions for the interview with Jaz and Molly so I could focus the video shoot on the most important services they provide. Molly also shared a lovely, heart-expanding story about a dog who was deaf that they found a forever home for. This story rounded out the video so it wasn't just a compilation of cute animal footage and a list of services, but rather a full, deep narrative about the organization as a whole. Their supporters provided the footage and I shot the interview with Jaz and Molly so we got the messaging just right. I edited the footage, added the graphics and branding, corrected and graded the color, and adjusted the audio. I also resized and shortened the video for social media. #video #advert #videoeditor
uniE608 All Things Equal Nonprofit Organization - About Video
All Things Equal needed a great, general video about what they do, which is "provide purposeful employment for people with and without disability in a ‘mainstream’ work environment." They operate a café and ice cream cart in Melbourne, Australia. They provided me with audio of Paul, one of their servers, talking about his job as well as footage of their café and ice cream cart. I went through the footage to find the best parts to combine with the audio, found background music to enhance the story, adjusted the audio and colors of the footage, and added graphics and transitions. It was such a great experience learning about their mission and helping to spread the word about all that they do. #video #advert #videoeditor
uniE608 Natalie Touchberry Illustrations - About Video
Natalie's illustrations spoke for themselves with their warmth and whimsy, but Natalie needed to introduce herself to her audience and explain the inspiration behind her pieces. Working with Rebecca Gilmore of Gilchek Creative on the scriptwriting and creative direction, Natalie and I shot the video and recorded the intro audio together in an afternoon. I compiled that footage along with additional audio and photos of her illustrations into an introductory video. I adjusted the audio, color corrected and graded the video, as well as adding in graphics and text animation to go along with our shared vision. #advert #video #videoeditor
