Before There Was Christmas - Cookie Bumper
For the winter series leading up to the Christmas services, Vineyard Cincinnati focused on the events that led up to Christ's birth, in a series called "Before There Was Christmas." We created three bumpers to depict the "undoing" of decorations for the Christmas holiday, to show that we were setting the clock back to look at the beginning; we "unbaked" the gingerbread cookies, "unwrapped" the presents, and "undecorated" the tree. O-Cedar - Unsung Heroes: Bill, "Warehouse Same Day Delivery Guy"
This is one of the first videos I've created for a corporate client. O-Cedar is an international cleaning brand that sought to reach newer and younger demographics. We wanted to focus on the amazing people who make up this company, so I was told to create something superhero-like. With a lot of wiggle room, I happily conceptualized this theme from scratch, and created the comic book intro for this Unsung Hero series. The interview footage was shot on-site at the O-Cedar company by a coworker, while I shot b-roll of the building. I have been the sole editor on these Unsung Hero videos, and they have helped to expand my knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
