    uniE621 "Coming Home" (2023)
This piece was drawn first with pencil and ink in my sketchbook, then colored digitally using Procreate for iPad. #illustrator
    uniE621 "Afro" (2023)
This piece was drawn first with pencil and ink in my sketchbook, then colored digitally using Procreate for iPad. This started as a character design practice sketch utilizing circles as much as possible (background, hair, bubble gum, jewelry). #illustrator
    uniE621 "Elevators" (2023)
This piece was drawn first with pencil and ink in my sketchbook, then colored digitally using Procreate for iPad. Inspired by the chorus of Outkast's "Elevators (Me & You)." This was also posted on their Instagram! #illustrator
    uniE621 "Kelly's Move" (2022)
This piece was drawn first with pencil and ink in my sketchbook, then colored digitally using Procreate for iPad. I thought of this while listening to Beyonce's "Move." #illustrator
uniE621 "Ten Big Dreams for Ten Little Toes" (2018)
A 24-page fully illustrated children’s book about a young girl (the author’s daughter) with cerebral palsy. With a foundation in Christianity and faith, this story expresses all the seemingly-impossible feats that the author sees her daughter accomplishing through life. I illustrated the entirety of the book: the cover and the interior contents. Developed characters based on real-life individuals. #illustrator
    uniE621 "Mama, I'm Going To Be a Millionaire!" (2019)
A 27-page fully-illustrated faith-based children’s book about a young 6 year-old boy telling his mother all the many things he will do to become a morally and financially successful millionaire, so he can one day prove for the both of them. I illustrated the entirety of the book: cover, interior contents. Developed characters based on real-life people and the author’s additional vision. #illustrator
uniE621 "I'm Not... I Am! Imani and Her Magic Mirror" (2022)
A 13-page illustrated book written by a separate author. This book is about a young Black girl exploring her emotions and not allowing stereotypes of her character to define who she is. Developed original characters based on book material and theme. #illustrator
uniE621 "Asante: The Spoken Word Poet" (2021)
Asante gives us the ability to take a look into the importance of writing and creativity in the Black community. He is a representation of our people who may feel like they don't quite have a place to fit in. The ones who don't fall into society's norms. Asante represents every Black child who has had difficulty coming to terms with their differences, as he learns to find his way while navigating that emotional journey. #illustrator
    uniE613 "Adelaide's Sparkle" (2022)
A 27-page children's book I illustrated about a little girl on her way to stardom-- who just happens to have Down's syndrome. #illustrator
    uniE621 Plant Wallpaper
An experimental minimalist piece drawn and colored in Procreate, originally created to be for my personal phone wallpaper/screensaver. #illustrator
    uniE621 "Not a Threat" (2020)
This piece was drawn first with pencil and ink in my sketchbook, then colored digitally using Procreate for iPad. Inspired by the harsh realities experienced by my fellow Black community, particularly in the wake of the summer of 2020. #illustrator
    uniE621 "Music Man" (2022)
This piece was drawn first with pencil and ink in my sketchbook, then colored digitally using Procreate for iPad. The sheet music is the main theme of "La Vie en Rose" (Louis Armstrong). #illustrator
