Product Designer is needed in Austin, United States.

Mobile Product Designers wanted to join Hypergiant, an enterprise AI company focused on developing world-changing technology to solve the world’s biggest problems in the areas of space, defense, and critical infastructure.

The chosen designer will be independent, perceptive, adaptable, highly organized, passionate, and strategic. They should also be experienced with native android and/or iOS applications to help shape the identity of an up and coming Black Owned Business in the technology space.
Hypergiant are looking for highly articulate individuals with excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills. Self-motivation should certainly not be a problem. The design group — a variety of artists and designers — are a great team for working on internal/external projects. Design services are also offered to customers, in addition to an a-list development team.

Required Skills:

• 2-4 years experience in interactive design, designing and shipping desktop or mobile applications, preferably in an agency setting.
• Experience designing native android applications and/or native iOS applications
• Ability to solve problems creatively, an interdisciplinary sensibility toward graphic, product and digital media design and an exceptional eye for detail.
• Expert level understanding of information architecture, interaction design, user experience, and visual design.
• A sensitivity to typography, color and a practical grasp of physics and animation.
• Proficiency in the use of the standard design tools (Sketch, Figma, Abstract, etc.) as well as a willingness to learn other tools on the job is a requirement.
• Excellent collaborative and brainstorming skills.
• Ability to deliver high quality work on tight schedules.
• Experience in prototyping is a plus.
• Experience with various platforms and operating systems is a plus.

This position is open as a 1099 contract arrangement, with a possibility of extension and/or conversion to FTE. Ideally, this position will be based in either Dallas or Austin, but they are also open to 100% remote.
