Creative Director to oversee and raise design and development projects for small virtual agency

Creative Director is needed in United States.

Creative Director wanted to join Loren Polster Design Solutions - a graphic designer and front-end web developer of 15 years in the midst of launching a small virtual agency. They concentrate on assets for marketing teams, such as rebranding, website design and development, social and display commercials, event collateral, and, of course, polishing PPTs for tomorrow. Some tasks are straightforward and straightforward, while others are delectably customized and difficult.

The chosen freelancer will oversee and raise design and development projects to the next level, with the goal of eventually becoming their full-time Creative Director. About the job:

• This application does not include a binary hiring procedure. If the interviews go well, they’ll assign you to several modest tasks to assess your ability to collaborate. This could result in a retainer contract or more.

• Completely remote contract employment
• Project-based with a weekly retainer of 15-30 hrs.
• Hourly rates range from $60 to $90, depending on expertise, quality, efficiency, and volume of hours worked.

Responsibilities:

• Running your projects with little to no input from me — once onboarded and familiarized
• Producing flawless and stunning original design work in brand development, collateral, website and UX design, and other promotional materials
• Delivering great solutions in context as well as great design:
• Considering the design’s practicality and use — how it will be built, the goals of the brief, the client’s request — not just creating something cool
• Manage projects, clients, and other designers
• Respond swiftly, be on call during specified hours, and deliver timely turnarounds
• Produce less intriguing design work with excellence
• Edit and perhaps create web pages — typically using page-building interfaces on WordPress that do not require code
• Maintain consistent courtesy and respect for their employees and clients
• Maintain and improve their procedures and protocols.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of professional design experience
• Agency experience is preferred but not essential
• Expert understanding of Figma
• Knowledge of Adobe CC applications — specifically AI, PSD, and INDD
• Native English speaking
• US time zones (or close to)
• Familiarity with WordPress foundations
• CSS and any front-end experience is a plus, but not essential
