Who are we?
We are the newly formed Flume team created with a mission to help Small and Mid-sized Businesses (SMBs) scale and grow. Our new platform launched in April 2022 and we are looking for motivated builders to help us take Flume to the next level.

Today, Flume is a robust web and mobile application that helps SMBs pay and get paid faster. Customers can utilize a variety of payment methods and tools like digital checks, bank transfers and instant “FlumePay” transactions to pay other Flume users and vendors. With Flume, customers have a true one-stop shop to manage all of their business payments.

With much of our core infrastructure built we are now focused on building software-led solutions that help our customers truly optimize and scale their business processes with Flume. We need talented teammates like you to help us design, build and deliver new delightful experiences to our growing customer base.

  • Are a top-notch coder.

  • Are comfortable working on front-end web code, back end services, data stores, and infrastructure systems.
  • Are a solid architect/designer/engineer.
  • Have experience writing modern software deployed in the cloud.
  • Are comfortable with modern APIs and front-end frameworks.
  • Have worked on agile teams to deliver software iteratively.

At a minimum, you

  • Have a BS in an engineering field OR can make us feel intensely confident that you don’t need one.
  • Have 2+ years of development experience including web applications.
  • A demonstrable working understanding of using ReactJS to develop a web application.

It would be nice if you

  • Can show us one or more passion projects or open-source work you have contributed to in your own time.
  • Have experience with Golang, MongoDB, AWS, and Terraform.
  • Have experience with automated deployment pipelines.
  • Have demonstrable experience with systems engineering and automation.
  • Enjoy hanging out with your team.
