Location: Bristol, UK
Contract: 6 Month FTC

The role is a senior position in the newsroom and you will be required to take responsibility for news editing, producing our 6pm programmes and planning. You will support the Digital Content Editor in their role and provide cover for them at times.

To be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following skills:

Minimum role criteria:

• Proven experience of producing or planning impactful, high-quality & distinctive News content to deadlines and under pressure.
• A strong knowledge of media law & compliance and the ability to exercise excellent editorial judgement.
• Experience of successfully leading or managing others or projects.
• An understanding of the importance of Diversity & Inclusion in determining output.
