ProVision are one of the UK’s leading equipment hire companies, providing Lighting, Cameras, Grips and Sound to the Television and Film industry. Wholly owned by ITV and with bases in Leeds, London and Manchester we are looking to recruit a Technical Assistant to support us in providing a high standard of service to our ProVision clients.
This role entails…
The preparation, first line maintenance and stock control of all technical equipment, focusing at all times on providing a high standard of service to all ProVision clients. You will provide a complete technical solution, from day to day running of hire equipment to the preparation of daily additional extras, delivered to the highest of standards at all time as well as delivering ProVision’s vast array of external Drama and Factual productions.

Some Key Responsibilities:
-Relevant skills to operate across all the business areas and provide cross-site cover.
-To negotiate, provide quotations and support on a daily basis to ProVisions diverse client base.
-To be able to accurately fault find and follow system diagrams.
-Ability to deal effectively with a wide range of clients from camera assistants to operators and lighting directors.
-You will convey all client and business relevant information into the Technical Supervisor and Relevant Manager.
-Ensure that the service provided is of the highest of standards whilst constantly maintaining a customer oriented focus.
-Specific responsibilities for the technical department with the potential requirement to cover other areas within the business.
-Ensure all assets are tracked using the ProVision tracking software MCS.
-Ensure that good Health & Safety practise is applied in all aspects of equipment supply.
-Be proficient in the use of ITV’s iBusiness.
-Deliveries to and from location.
-Clean & refuel vehicles as required.
-Loading and unloading of equipment.
