Contract : 12 month fixed term contract (maternity cover)

Reporting to the Manager - 3D Design, the Senior 3D Designer is a seasoned multi-disciplinary designer who with
the consumer experience at the forefront, creates inspired and engaging environments within global retail + event
settings. Incorporating a variety of integrated steps and processes to create 360 brand experiences, this role
concepts and executes creative ideas that elevate the brand while meeting strategic and brand marketing goals.
Experience

• 5+ years of relevant 3D design experience in an agency or in-house for a luxury fashion/beauty brand.
• Proven ability to concept, develop and execute high-quality and considered designs for experiential
• environments within global retail + event settings; including press events, pop-ups, activations, window
  displays, furniture and fixtures.
• An informed POV on design + social trends across architecture, interior design, art, fashion and beauty.
• A keen awareness of innovative materials and technologies used within the luxury fashion/beauty industries.
  Skills + Responsibilities
• Research and devise design concepts that can be implemented in line with both campaign-led and core brand
  experiences; supporting ideas with mood boards and material palettes.
• Execute polished 3D renderings of all proposals, or confidently brief in to others.
• An understanding of a broad range of materials, assembly and fabrication processes to inform designs.
• Articulate design intent by producing production detail packs to share with external production agencies.
• Review and approve technical drawings from external production agenices, offering considered design
  solutions where necessary to ensure creative vision and brand standards are upheld.
• Demonstrate project ownership and the ability to lead more junior team members.
• Competently manage multiple small-mid sized projects through their life-cycles in a fast-paced,
  deadline-driven environment.
• Contribute creative ideas in collaborative ideation sessions with Global Creative teams.
• Communicate closely with VM and Store Design teams in the US on global launches and activations, ensuring
  cohesive design concepts and materials are used across all global markets.
• Show strong organisational skills to priortise workload, communicating closely with Creative Ops teams in the
  US to ensure deliverables are achieved on time and on budget.
• Think strategically to design with the goal of meeting business objectives, contributing creative ideas to
  improve the end product.
• Anticipate design needs, implementing creative solutions that push the creative so that the look and feel is
  unique yet “on brand”.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving ability, follow-through and responsiveness regardless of project size or
  scope, being adaptable and flexible to ever-changing design briefs.
• Conduct site surveys where necessary to create accurate site-specific 3D models and designs.
• Understand and implement relevant Health + Safety requirements for each location or environment.
• Travel as required.
• Proficient command of SketchUp, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and rendering software (V-Ray for
  SketchUp is a bonus but not essential).
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals in a
  diverse community across UK and US timezones.

Location
This is a remote role, based in London with the option to adopt a hybrid working model, utilising the Shiseido UK
offices in Central London.
