The successful candidate will be responsible for filming interviews and using editing software to prepare videos that are both informative and entertaining. The videos will be used to promote a well-known international foundation, and the individual in this position will be solely responsible for creating content.
A background in journalism, videography or another related field is highly advantageous.
2 years experience as a videographer/video editor is required.
Responsibilities:
- Edit video footage.
- Edit video for public viewing.
- Collect video footage.
- Operate cameras for recording video footage.
- Work with producers to determine the overarching theme and mood of a project and then determine the specific shots necessary to convey that mood.
- Organize raw footage into a cohesive whole.
- Follow directors’ notes editing, cutting, creating or reshaping raw footage and adding effects or music.
- Transfer data from source to computer, creating high-quality digital files.
