The Designer Animator is a seasoned and creative brand identity and graphic designer. This role involves designing brand identity systems, crafting compelling brand stories, and developing high-quality style guides, pitch decks, and presentations. The Designer/Animator serves as a versatile design resource, working on a wide range of internal and public projects to elevate media brands across multiple channels. Reporting to the VP of Creative, the Designer/Animator collaborates with Art Directors and Producers as necessary.

Essential Functions:

• Develop world-class brand books, style guides, pitch desks, and presentations
• Design culture-building artifacts for various NFL departments and initiatives
• Create environmental designs for the NFL LA facility, including signage, installations, and stage décor
• Rapidly generate ideas for broad NFL initiatives through sketching, storyboarding, and mockups
• Collaborate with other designers and Art Directors to concept on-air and VOD graphics packages and templates

Required Education and Experience:

• College Graduate or comparable experience in graphic design or visual communication
• 3+ years of experience in a professional design environment
• 2+ years of experience working with major commercial brands
• Logo/brand identity design expertise
• Advanced design sensibility in graphics design, typography, and information design
• Experience working with or creating brand voice, tone, and personality
• Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Keynote
• Awareness of brand hierarchy and broad brand equity (i.e., NFL)

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Design experience in sports, entertainment, or media industries is a plus
• Additional proficiency in Figma and video/motion tools, including After Effects

Salary / Pay Range:

The job posting contains a pay range representing the salaries or hourly rates that the NFL is willing to pay for the position. The salary offered is expected to fall near the middle of the range. In exceptional cases, where an external candidate possesses experience, credentials, or expertise that far exceed the requirements of the position, the NFL may consider a salary at the higher end of the range.
