Purpose of the Position:

Under the supervision of the Information Technology Manager, the Digital Marketing Assistant is responsible for helping achieve the desired visual brand presentation of the company and its products. The role works to craft and enhance digital artwork, signage, photography, and graphics and assists in implementing our web-based marketing strategy.

Essential Functions/Job Responsibilities:

• Shoot and edit photo content for use in online channels, internal signage and promotions and social media platforms.
• Work with the Product Development Team to create and manipulate signage, brochures, and various internal sales documents.
• Handle administrative duties associated with the company’s website and POS system as they relate to product development and new product setup and product adjustments.
• Create graphical displays for various advertisements and marketing pieces and campaigns in coordination with ownership.
• Learn and assist in all aspects of the back-end management of the company’s websites for each operating division.
• Assist in writing marketing literature (press releases, email campaigns, brochures, etc.) to enhance the company’s presence in the market.
• Coordinate and implementation of the creation of digital content (e.g., websites, blogs, press releases and social media).
• Suggest ideas and work to implement them that will increase the company’s web presence and raise brand awareness.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• 4 year college degree
• 3+ years professional digital marketing experience
• Google analytics
• Google website optimizer
• Google AdWords
• Google Keywords
• Working, plus knowledge of, Adobe Creative Suite
• Photoshop trained and experienced
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
