Job Description:

Halverson Company is seeking a full time Design/Drafter for our offices in Salt Lake City, Utah. We have been in business since 1914 and specialize in design and construction of agricultural, industrial, and processing facilities throughout the mountain west.

Responsibilities:

• Create general arrangement drawings
• Create construction drawings
• Create flow diagrams
• Create as-built drawings
• Compile equipment lists and bill of materials for construction and fabrication
• Communicate with customers and vendors to ensure accurate equipment specifications and configurations

Assist the team in the design and layout of construction projects under the direction of the assigned Project Engineer, Project Manager, or Sales Representative.

Requirements:

• Must be familiar with ANSI drafting standards
• Must be proficient with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Software
• Being familiar with Autodesk Inventor or Solid Works would be preferred
• Experience with construction would be preferred
• Experience with material handling applications would be preferred
• Must be detail oriented
• Must be organized
• Must be an effective communicator

Pay:

$16.00 - $32.00 per hour
