Job Description
We are looking for a professional Musician to join our team! Aloha spirit and a positive attitude are essential. Under the direction of the Entertainment Director, the Musician is required to provide the highest level of entertainment and service to our guests on the Star of Honolulu or elsewhere as assigned.
Interviews
We will have open interviews at Aloha Tower, 1 Aloha Tower Dr, Honolulu, HI 96813, every Monday from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. Please arrive in professional dress and bring your resume. Now offering up to $1,500 in new hire and retention bonuses!
Salary and Benefits

Responsibilities
- Report to work on time in proper attire and appropriately groomed according to standards set by Star of Honolulu and the Entertainment Director.
- Greet guests in a professional, attentive, and friendly manner.
- Provides dinner music throughout the cruise, including backing up the jazz vocalist and saxophone player for a 20-25 minute set and playing 2 hours of Hawaiian music.
- During the feature show, narrates, engages, and changes costumes based on the timing of the show.
- Engages with the guests and ensures that they are having a wonderful experience.
- Responsible for safety procedures for arrivals, departures, and SIP drills.
- Attends and participates in pick up rehearsals (non-paid), as well as rehearsals to learn new material (paid).
- Flexible and cooperative regarding changes or additional duties required.
- The Entertainment Director or Entertainment Supervisor assigns placement of Musicians at the boarding stations for greeting,
