Who We’re Seeking:

We are looking for a skilled Website Designer with knowledge of SEO principles and experience building functional websites, preferably in WordPress. We’re seeking someone with a passion for web design and a solid understanding of best digital marketing practices who also works well as a team. They must be able to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and have an eye for detail.

Job Description:

The Website Designer is responsible for working with a project manager to determine the scope of the website design and construction. The Designer will use our custom CMS as well as WordPress to construct websites using our pre-made design templates. They will customize each website using the client’s brand colors, logo, and guidelines to layout each page in the best way according to provided content. The Website Designer will perform basic photo editing and cropping along with text editing to create a polished and beautiful website designed to generate more traffic. A basic understanding of SEO is required as the Website Designer will be responsible for SEO implementation during the initial build as well as updating live websites in order to stay up to date on current SEO best practices.

Qualifications:

• A strong portfolio of working websites which demonstrates excellent design and functionality
• Experience using WordPress and Photoshop
• A solid understanding of HTML and CSS
• Experience with responsive design and Bootstrap framework
• Knowledge of best SEO practices
• Ability to respond well to feedback
• Excellent organization skills and follow-through
• Attention to detail while working in a fast paced environment
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to collaborate and communicate well with others

Experience:

• Website Design: 1+ year (required)
• HTML and CSS: 1+ year (required)
• WordPress: 1+ year (required)
• SEO: 1+ year (required)
• Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator (preferred)

Work Location:

On-site: Payson, Utah

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
