Job Title: Part-time News Videographer
KTVZ-TV, News Channel 21, the NBC and FOX affiliates in Bend, Oregon is currently accepting applications for a Part-time News Videographer. If you are an experienced videographer who knows how to tell a story with great pictures, sound and editing, we are looking for you.
Responsibilities:
- Set up news stories
- Conduct interviews
- Write the stories
- Edit video
- Go live with reporters
Basic understanding of journalistic ethics is required. This is NOT an on-air position.
Qualifications:
- Maintenance for station ENG gear
- Operation of live equipment
- Assisting in the day-to-day operations of newsgatherings, including shooting and editing stories
- Ability to lift and carry heavy ENG equipment long distances
- A valid Oregon driver’s license or the ability to obtain one is required
