Job Title: Photo Editor

Are you passionate about editing photos and crafting memories for families? Do you excel at meeting deadlines? Do you strive to empower those around you through constructive feedback?

MugsyClicks School Photography is excited to add photo editors to our team for the 2023 Fall Season.

We are hiring passionate and proficient individuals to help with our photo editing department. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for details, has photo editing experience, and has strong communication skills.

Previous photo editing and retouching experience is highly preferred, though this is a great opportunity to step into the photo and editing industry.

Job Responsibilities:

• Seasonal positions are available from August through mid-December, with opportunities to edit in the Spring.
• Work ranges between 30-40 hours per week during the Fall season.
• Ability to cull through school photos and quickly choose the best images.
• Knowledge of editing software programs such as Photo Mechanic, Adobe Lightroom, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Editors will help create group photos, which includes face swapping and scanning names.
• Editing will be done in-house on Mac computers
• Employees are expected to adhere to school and county Covid Guidelines. All immunization required.
• Must be dependable, prompt, productive, and teamwork oriented.
• Must be able to commute to our office in San Rafael.

Job Requirements:

• Previous photo editing and retouching experience is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
