Freelance Media Production Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced, well-organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our Digital Production team as a Freelance Media Production Coordinator. In this role, you will produce, edit, and manage videos for events and webinars while working closely with our producers to execute a wide variety of virtual events. Beyond having the necessary hard skills, the ideal candidate will approach this position with an eagerness to learn, bringing their positive energy and enthusiasm to a collaborative team. Patience and customer service skills are necessary to excel in this role. This position offers a great opportunity to step into the virtual realm as it continues to grow in the production industry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual events using platforms like Zoom, Vimeo, and VMIX
• Pre-record and post-produce video content
• Work with clients and talent to prepare them for virtual presentations
• Assist with uploading/editing videos On-Demand on our meeting sites
• Expected to travel into the office for virtual events
• Some remote work is available but will require high-speed internet
• Weekend hours and evening hours required

Desired Skills & Experience

• 1-2 years experience with a streaming software (Livestream Studio or VMIX)
• Knowledge of virtual recordings via Zoom or similar platforms
• Understanding of video content management such as Vimeo, YouTube, or Frame.io
• Proficient with video editing software such as Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with knowledge of advanced functions of PowerPoint
• Consistent and verifiable work history
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Valid driver’s license

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
