Job Description
We’re hiring an On-Call Motion Graphics Designer to support our Creative Studio on an as-needed basis, with the flexibility to work from zero to 30 hours per week to create motion graphics for broadcast, web, and social media.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with copywriters, art directors, graphic designers, and other studio team members to conceptualize and translate scripts from storyboard to design and animation.
- Support public- and private-sector clients who tackle issues like HIV/AIDS, disaster preparedness, climate change, child welfare, energy efficiency and more.
- Be a student of the industry, stay up to date on the latest technology, trends and tools for video/dynamic content in digital/social and advertising – bringing that expertise to Studio and to clients.
Requirements
- 5+ years illustration and animation experience, preferably within an agency environment.
- A bachelor’s degree.
- Expert in Adobe After Effects, illustrator, Photoshop.
- Experience creating character design/animation and cel animation using Adobe Animate or similar apps.
- Skills in Cinema 4D a plus.
- A portfolio of motion graphics and illustration samples that includes a demo reel of recent work.
Pay Range: $62,113.00 - $105,593.00
