Hiring Salary/Salary Range: $40,000.00/annually

DUTIES:

• Assist with providing USF Athletics photography, providing supporting coverage of home contests across all 21 varsity sports annually.
• Assist with providing occasional road game event coverage within the state of Florida and occasional post season sport coverage both within and outside of the state.
• Assist with providing photography for recruiting visits throughout the year from potential USF Athletics student-athletes.
• Assist with providing photography for Athletics non-sports events, including banquets, graduations, Bulls Club donorevents, community service and others as they arise.
• Provide photography support at annual promotional/marketing photos shoots with varsity teams, as well as assist with department head shots, team photos, facility photos, and other organizational photography as required.
• Assist in the organization and maintenance of the Athletics Libris photo library, managing editing, labeling, categorizing and structuring of the library.
• Assist in the coordination and instruction of a student pool of photographers that will supplement coverage of events.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education & Experience):

Minimum Qualifications: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, public relations, technical writing, digital media, or related field, with two years of experience in related positions; or a Master’s degree in the fields listed above. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Three or more years of experience in sport photography; expertise in Libris; experience in collegiate or professional athletics; excellent working knowledge of rules and regulations of various sports.
