Responsibilities:
- Create graphics, edit video for use in production
- Write anchor copy and teases
- Generate ideas for new stories, content and formats to engage our audience
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a production environment in a newsroom
- Willingness to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to work individually as well as in a team environment
- Willingness to take initiative, manage simultaneous projects and to follow through on all work
- Experience in AVID (or similar editing software)
- Familiarity with INews
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree (TV/Film/Journalism or related field) or equivalent work experience
Hiring Range:
The hiring range for this position in New York City is $46,600 to $64,100 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
