Videographer and Editor - up to £27,000

Position

We’re looking for a driven and versatile Videographer/ Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be quick thinking, solutions orientated and should possess a clear understanding of lighting, sound, and camera operation, along with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating their expertise in videography and editing. This role will support video growth across both the Our Media Agency and our consumer brands, including Countryfile, Gathered, Science Focus, and YourHomestyle. You will be responsible for filming content series for our consumer brands, creating market leading content for our clients, creating website content, and producing engaging videos for YouTube and various social media channels. In addition to technical skills, the ability to conceptualize ideas and storyboards, as well as self-motivation and presentation skills, are highly desirable. Ideally, we are looking for someone who is confident self-shooting and editing their own videos as well as working as part of a team. Requirements

Essential:

• Proven experience as a Videographer and Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Proficient in operating professional video cameras, lighting equipment, and audio recording devices.
• Extensive knowledge of video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Davinci or similar.
• Ability to conceptualize ideas, create storyboards, and translate concepts into visually compelling videos.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly in terms of composition, lighting, and sound quality.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present and articulate ideas effectively.
• A passion for staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in videography and editing.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with graphic design and motion graphics software
