Job Description

• Regularly update and maintain the company website using WordPress.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure up-to-date website content aligns with our brand guidelines.
• Ensure the website is functioning correctly and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies related to web development.
• Assist with other web-related projects as needed.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

• Proven experience in web development, particularly with WordPress.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.
• Ability to troubleshoot website issues and identify solutions.
• Experience collaborating with marketing teams and understanding brand guidelines.
• Knowledge of website analytics tools like Google Analytics to monitor website traffic and user behavior.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Demonstrated experience in UI/UX design, with the ability to work with wireframes and create visually appealing and user-friendly web front ends.
• Proficiency in integrating and coding various forms and workflows, ensuring seamless user experiences and smooth functionality across the website.

It would be a bonus to have the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Familiarity with responsive design principles and ability to optimize the website for mobile devices.
• Experience with search engine optimization (SEO) techniques to improve website visibility and ranking.
• Experience with website security measures and the ability to implement best practices to protect the website from cyber threats.
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator to create or modify images and graphics for the website.

Compensation

We offer a competitive hourly rate for this position, ranging from $20.00 to $30.00 per hour. Initially, we expect the role to require approximately 8 hours of work per week, with the potential for increased hours as the company grows and needs evolve.
