Contract: Temporary, Part-time, Full-time
We are looking for a Photo Retoucher/Design to join our team in Melville, NY.
We are looking for full or part time, Monday through Friday, 20-40 hours per week. This position will work closely with the Art Department to retouch various creative imagery, both model and product focused, for both brands (GiGi New York & Graphic Image).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Retouching and color-correcting/matching imagery
- Photo editing both product and lifestyle assets
- Resizing, removing backgrounds, smoothing, etc. various creative photography
- Accommodating special request retouching with quick turn-around
- Ability to communicate needs to in-house photographer.
REQUIREMENTS:
- College classes in Digital Retouching, Graphic Design or related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign specifically)
- Proficient multitasker, with ability to work on multiple assignments under deadline
- Highly organized
- Flexible approach to retouching/design solutions
- Self-starter, able to work independently.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
- Digital design experience with an understanding of layout and composition a plus
- Photography experience a plus
