• Salary - £41,795 - £53,061

We are looking for a Reactjs Frontend Web Developer to support our field team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a suite of web applications to provide the tools necessary for field agents to carry out a multitude of objectives.

You will be responsible for supporting expansion into new markets and emerging workstreams by ensuring our employees have all the information they require and the data our clients require is captured.

As part of the role you will work alongside the operational field and office teams to understand current processes and procedures, looking to deliver innovative solutions to improve performance. You will ensure any new ideas or changes to existing solutions are version controlled using Git, changes are thoroughly tested and pull requests are authorised by an independent peer before being released into production. Where changes impact multiple system/require system down time detailed and independently reviewed plans will be needed to limit business impact, using a run/play book.

Communication is key and you will be required to report to all affected end users and business leaders where bugs are identified/new requests are made and provide timely updates on progress and resolution.

What we need from you

• 3+ years of experience with ReactJS
• Proficient with the latest versions of ECMAScript (JavaScript)
• Knowledge of HTML5/CSS and Bootstrap
• An understanding of common programming paradigms and fundamental React principles, such as React components, hooks, and the React lifecycle
• Knowledge of React and common tools used in the wider React ecosystem, such as Node.js and npm
• 3+ years of development experience using C# .NET
• Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server, and design/architectural patterns
• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills with a strong attention to detail
• Able to work well in a team setting
• Creative problem solver who can see a task through to resolution or delivery
• Proactively engages and communicates with key stakeholders regardless of level
• Able to manage a critical incident effectively to limit system down time
• Ability to proactively think about the end user and the impact/benefit of any design decision they make
• An aptitude for working in pressurised situations with changing and conflicting priorities

It would be great if you have

• Familiarity with DevOPs, continuous integration and continuous development
• Familiar with the licence conditions and legal requirements relating to the fair treatment of customers
