Location: San Diego, United States
Contract: Part Time
Job Requirements:
- This is an entry level position
- Qualified candidate should have some video photographer experience and editing experience
- Will be trained to provide complete and visual coverage of news events in an unbiased and accurate manner
- Will shoot breaking news, events, stories covered by Reporters, both live and on tape, for news programs
- Must be able to edit stories
- Will keep assigned equipment and or company vehicle in good working condition
- Must have a valid and clear California Drivers License
- Must be able to set up remotes to allow transmission of pictures or live from the scene reports back to station
- Must be proficient on Adobe Premier Creative Cloud 6
Necessary Skills & Requirements:
- Creative
- Good organizational skills
- Technically oriented
- Able to perform duties and make good decisions under extreme pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent judgment abilities
- Excellent DMV record
- Physically demanding position, must be able to:
- Stand on feet for long periods of time
- Lift over 50 pounds
- Bend, stretch, pull, and grasp
- Must be able to work overtime and have flexibility with their schedule
