Responsibilities

• Be an integral part of projects from concept to completion
• Make site visits and survey space
• Interpret and translate customer needs into rough plans
• Research and source materials and products
• Produce visual presentations to best show designs
• Create drawings and comprehensive plans including elevations, plan drawings, and 3d renderings
• Work closely with vendors to track and manage execution of orders
• Maintain project materials and system of organization

Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rendering Programs, Illustrator, Adobe Suite and other design programs
• Proven experience in work with interior spaces
• Expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations
• Strong knowledge of materials and FF&E
• Knowledge of Millwork, cabinetry and furniture structure a plus
• Creative talent, imagination and eye for design
• Polished Communication and Presentation skills
• Ability to problem solve and think outside of the box
• Project management skills
• Bachelors degree in Interior Design or similar

Other

Must be flexible and able to work remotely as needed during these times, as well as on-site with all precautions and in a common studio location as needed. Candidate will need reliable mode of transport and ability to travel to project sites inside and outside of Philadelphia area.

Position is part-time at start with room to grow. Salary commensurate with experience. Candidates will be asked to present work samples and drawings.

Savery Design is a boutique Interior Design and Interior Architecture studio based in Philadelphia with a variety of current projects in multiple states, on the east coast and beyond. We are focused mostly on residential spaces with some commercial applications. Projects are individual, high-end, unique and very highly customized. Services are full and comprehensive from Concept, Development, to Management and Execution.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
