Job Description:

Victory Christian Ministries International Bowie campus is currently seeking a talented and dedicated keyboardist to join our worship team for our Sunday morning services. As a keyboardist, you will play a vital role in creating a vibrant and engaging worship experience for our congregation.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the worship leader and other team members to plan and coordinate music for weekly services and special events.
• Skillfully play the keyboard during worship services, creating an atmosphere of heartfelt worship and praise.
• Lead and support congregational singing, encouraging active participation and spiritual engagement.
• Rehearse regularly with the worship team to ensure a cohesive and harmonious sound during services.
• Embrace and contribute to the church’s worship culture, fostering an environment of reverence and joy.
• Maintain and care for the church’s keyboard and related equipment.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in playing the keyboard with experience in leading worship in a church setting.
• A strong foundation in music theory and the ability to read sheet music and chord charts.
• Sensitivity to the Holy Spirit’s leading during worship, allowing room for spontaneous and spirit-led moments.
• Ability to adapt to various worship styles, from contemporary to traditional, as needed for different services.
• Team player with excellent communication skills, collaborating harmoniously with other musicians and worship team members.
• A committed and active member of the church, understanding the importance of personal spiritual growth.
• A heart for worship ministry and a desire to lead others into God’s presence through music.
