JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Coaches are the reason a student will come back and sign up for more classes and camps. Coaches will always be mindful of each student, helping them learn and have fun doing it. The Coaches are a essential part of Code Wiz, from running classes and trials to running summer camps.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use the curriculum to teach and lead children in their lessons and projects
• Run class trials
• Help the kids open their mines coming up with creative ideas that kids could implement in their projects.
• Write daily updates on the kids progress.
• Maintain a high quality of team performance and job satisfaction
• Train new coaches as needed

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Some experience working with kids in a camp, tutoring, child care or after school program (Preferred)
• Background in Unity and one of the following fields: Scratch, Python, Java, Roblox, and Robotics (Preferred)
• Charisma and the ability to function independently
