As our Broadcast TV Studio Producer – Part-Time, you will play a critical role responsible for spearheading the vision and execution of all Trail Blazers live PREGAME, HALFTIME & POSTGAME television content and productions throughout the NBA season. In addition to these responsibilities, this position presents a unique opportunity to help shape and build an industry-leading, storytelling, future-looking, NextGen broadcast.
DAY-TO-DAY:
- Committed to developing a collaborative, innovative, diverse, and inclusive culture within the Broadcast division.
- Provide vision for overall television PREGAME, HALFTIME & POSTGAME shows including content, storytelling, innovation, graphics package, show format, and programming plan and manage the execution of that vision.
- Produce the live production of all PREGAME, HALFTIME & POSTGAME Trail Blazers broadcasts.
- Plan and execute all programming and broadcast elements for the PREGMAE, HALFTIME & POSTGAME shows.
- Manage the studio production team and game night crew.
- Manage, coach, and schedule all on-air Studio talent & guests.
- Build key relationships with our basketball operations department to ensure team messaging is consistent across all platforms.
- Work collaboratively across all Trail Blazers & Rose Quarter departments including our Corporate Communications & Content Teams to ensure consistent messaging as well as our Corporate Partnership Division to drive towards revenue goals.

Are highly skilled in all aspects of the operations of live television production.
Are highly knowledgeable of broadcast production facilities including gear, equipment, and software programs.
Are highly skilled at problem-solving and quick on-demand decision-making.

Have creative and engaging storytelling abilities.
Possess the ability to drive innovation.
Have knowledge of basic computing equipment and software typical in a modern office environment. Knowledge in practical application of Windows OS, MS Outlook, Word and Excel preferred.
Are skilled in developing, fostering, and maintaining constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
Are able to maintain confidentiality, work with sensitive or proprietary information, and exercise discretion.
Are available to work all Trail Blazers games throughout the season from Moda Center Production Studios in Portland, Oregon, and are able to work various nights, weekends, and holidays.
High Basketball IQ preferred.
At least three (3) years of experience leading production teams and producing both pre-produced and live sports production programming.
